Fish Hunter Ultimate Arcade Gameboard Kit supports is a 6 player video redemption arcade game with a marine theme. This competitive and fast-paced game throws players against each other as they shoot wildly, trying to get as many fish as possible!
The game uses HD graphics on a large LCD screen to showcase the amazing undersea scenery, as well as all the wiley fish characters that players have to catch. All the fish have different value rates and these different values mean some characters are harder to catch than others. This brings in elements of strategy, as the players may need to use more powerful weapons or special features, or, players may need to work together in order to catch them.
To help, players have been equipped with a whole arsenal of powerful weapons, including the Super Cumulative Gun seen in previous games. Also, Fish Hunter Ultimate includes a brand new weapon – Tracking Missile! The Tracking Missile automatically targets higher rating fish and can be access by pushing the joystick up twice. Players can switch between the other weapons at any stage during the game by pressing the WEAPON change button.
Another cool feature is the new point scoring method. Usually, players accumulate credit points for catching fish, which is based on that character’s rate, however this game uses the Double Method rather than the Credit Method. This means that when players catch a fish it’s rate is x1000. Players can now score more points than ever!
The fun and colourful cast of fish to catch includes: Butterfly Fish, Sanpper, Lantern Fish, Clown Fish, Saw Sharks, Sea Turtles, a Humpback Whale, Bomb Crabs and more!
The game also includes a range of mini games and features which are handy for players to use during the game for extra points! These include:
- The Bomb Crab: when the bomb crab is captured by a player it explodes and the player can get extra points from the explosion if it affects other fish.
- Vortex Fish – each fish (except devilfish, shark, killer whales, humpback whales and bomb crabs) have a vortex feature. When a player picks up the vortex feature, the fish with the vortex feature at the time captures all the same fish near it for the player.
- Lightning Chain: there are nine types of fish which are subject to lightening chain: flounder, snapper, lionfish, clown fish, fugu, butterfly fish, lobster, octopus, and spearfish. Use the Lightning Chain to get up to nine kinds of fish at once and win extra points depending on how many fish, and how many different types of fish, are present on the screen at the time.

This is a low cost and simple configuration option for operators. An operator will "key in" (with a key) on every machine or terminal that has this option in order to allow players to play and add credits. When the player has finished the game, the operator will “key out” (with a key) to end the session and the player can collect their points. This is suited for low end machines or machines that have low traffic / income.
This is a common configuration option suited for low value games and is also known as "Coin In/ Coin Out". This option entails players inserting coins in order to begin the game. Once the player has finished the game, the hopper will distribute coins according to the amount the money won during the game, for instance if the player won $20 the hopper will distribute eighty 25c pieces to the player. This is most appropriate for machines that have low winning potential due to its convenience and usability.
This option is normally used for prize redemption in arcade centres where players can redeem their tickets for gifts and prizes. This option involves players inserting coins to commence their game and once the game is completed they are presented with tickets reflecting the amount of points won during the game. For example, if a player earned 50 points during a game, they will be given 50 tickets. These tickets can then be redeemed for prizes or gifts.
